Andrew Humphrey

Andrew has over 19 years of experience in the electrical engineering and construction industry. Andrew’s expertise includes but is not limited to the electrical design of substations (distribution and transmission), power plants (conventional and renewable), oil and gas facilities, water and wastewater treatment plants, institutional facilities, commercial buildings, and casinos. His technical capabilities range from detailed design of one lines, three lines, AC and DC schematic and wiring diagrams to system studies using industry-standard software. He has developed relay settings for SEL, GE, Beckwith, and Basler relays and programmed supervisory control and data acquisition systems and human-machine interfaces. He also has extensive knowledge of the National Electric Code and has hands-on experience wiring relay panels, relay testing, and with startup and commissioning.

Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and majored in Managerial Studies at Rice University, which combined his passion for engineering and business. He also attended the Colorado School of Mines where he earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering.
